Primary Function 
Plan and formulate retail distribution & sales strategy to achieve Company's short and long term business strategies and objectives; ensure smooth implementation and execution of retail sales activities and operations. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities 

  1. Formulate sales plans and targets to support the company's business strategies and objectives so as to achieve profitable revenues
  2. Formulate, implement & execute retail operational procedure, system & policy in accomplishing operations effectiveness and efficiency (internal & external)
  3. Achieve service excellence through initiation of training module, developing of service touch points & training workshop with Training Dept, in equipping service staff with knowledge and skills to handle the growing customer expectation
  4. Initiate team bonding & motivational retail shop programme to identify people talents and team cohesiveness
  5. Formulate and enforce operational and service standards to deliver and achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.
  6. Coordinate with various functional heads to identify business opportunities to maximize sales revenue and profitability;
  7. Coordinate with IT Department to ensure support for the operational systems and management information system in order to achieve smooth operations and efficient sales management;
  8. Monitor and update all Retail Sales expenses for management review and information and ensure cost effective spending within approved budget.
  9. Monitor competitor activities & maintain and enhance the company's leadership position in the market;
  10. Identify distribution strategy through market intelligence network and feasibility study to expand company market shares and total retail space
  11. Analyze relevant sales reports and data to identify trends and patterns, brand mix distribution and formulate appropriate sales strategies to respond to market changes and to maximize shops performance.
  12. Build and maintain effective relationship with existing and potential shop landlords, developers or real estate agents for maximum brand exposure and distribution
  13. Any other projects as assigned by superiors.


  • Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Sales & Marketing or its equivalent; 
  • At least 5 year's relevant experience in the field of operation in retailing sales; 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software on PC platform 
  • Achievement drive, customer service oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills; 
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills 
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self motivated, able to supervise a team and yet work independently 
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and able to produce quality work under pressure 
  • Flexible in working hours.
